Cardigan Cowboy, Taos Hays, is a proud American, Oklahoman, son, brother and uncle, lives by the motto of Look Good. Feel Good. Do Good. Cardigan Cowboy is an open and approachable southern gentlemen helping tell the stories of hard working people, their journey with a southern giving twist.

Taos Hays spends most of his days as a project manager for a corporate company working with a variety of industries supplying process gases. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, team roping, snow boarding and spending time at the lake. All of which, are his happy places in life. Cardigan Cowboy’s travels have given him inspiration to share the journey of many genuine people with amazing stories to tell.

Cardigan Cowboy was inspired by one of Taos’s idols, Joe Rogan. Taos explains, “Joe is the King in the Podcast sector and he is who I aspire to be like. The first episode I remember listening to was his first interview with Jordan Peterson (Ep. #877). It changed my whole outlook on life. I paused it a few times just to collect my thoughts and comprehend the overwhelming amount of knowledge and insight given throughout the episode.”

A cardigan signifies warmth, a bit classy and always comfortable.

Feel Good

A cardigan paired with a nice cigar, sitting by the fire with whiskey in hand listening to a good story that motives and inspires you to become the best version of yourself.

Do Good

Giving value to those who listen while giving back to many organizations around the world.

Cardigan Cowboy has had many inspirations in addition to Joe Rogan, such as Taos’s grandmother, father, uncles, Anthony Bourdain, John Mayer, Chip and Joanna Gaines. One in particular that embodies the spirit of Cardigan Cowboy is Craig Groeschel.
